Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China （NSFC） has published the notice on the results of funding projects of the 2016 By August 17, 277 different kinds of projects from Xiamen University were funded, the total fund is about 180 million yuan.
During the centralized application period of 2016，Xiamen university has submited 968 applications，increasing by 6.74% compared with the same period in 2015. The average fund rate of Xiamen university is 28.62%， higher than the national’s average fund rate for 7%，which ranked 12th of the top 31 institutions.
