After the network voting by all members of the International Society for electrochemical (ISE), the Chinese academy of sciences, Xiamen university professor Tian Zhongqun was elected chairman of the ISE (President Elect, 2017-2018; President, 2019-2020).
This is the second time that the Chinese scientists take such important position of ISE since Tian Zhaowu was elected vice President of the ISE (1996-1999 years), this reflects the great progress of electrochemical enterprise in our country and the significantly increase of international academic influence.
