The Spectrochemical Analysis Innovative Research Group is based on the MOE Key Laboratoryof Spectrochemical Analysis & Instrumentation and the national key disciplinesof Analytical Chemistry.

It is a naturally formed group in the scientificresearch activities of spectrochemical analysis and teaching practice processof analytical chemistry. There are one leader and five core members in thegroup, three of them are awardees of National Science Fund for DistinguishedYoung Investigators, two of them are Minjiang Scholar Distinguished Professorsand two of them are Xiamen University Distinguished Professors. Under theirleadership, all the group members focus onbasic and applied research work innew principle, new technology and new method of spectrochemical analysis. Thegroup maintains the leading domestic position in the field of atomic /molecular spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and scientific instrumentdevelopment with high international influence.
